Michael Benisty, Managing Partner, has over 13 years experience in the financial services industry most recently as co-founder of MYD Market, Inc. and was formerly the head of the U.S. Risk Arbitrage and Special Situations desk at REFCO Securities, LLC in Paris and New York where he focused on Merger Arbitrage, Special Situations, and Event Driven corporate actions. Prior to this role he supervised the Equity Trading desk for the firm responsible for executing transactions in an agency and principle capacity. Prior to this, he was an Executive Vice President at Tradition Asiel Securities, Inc. North America where he provided trade execution in both equity cash and derivatives on single stock and indexes in an inter-dealer broker capacity.
Yan Assoun, Managing Partner, is a veteran in the financial markets with over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as co-founder of MYD Market, Inc. He started his career at BNP Paribas in Paris as a derivatives trader before heading the equity derivatives desks in Frankfurt and London for BNP and thereafter for Deutsche Bank, where he delivered innovative product ideas to the sales force for institutional customer trading. His last appointment was at CS as the European head of Equity Derivatives and Index Options Trading where he supervised and managed over 40 professional traders responsible for trading institutional derivatives for proprietary and customer books.
David Benisty, Managing Partner, is a veteran in the financial services industry with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as co-founder of MYD Market, Inc. He started his career at BNP Paribas in London with additional tenures in Frankfurt, Paris and New York as a Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Derivatives trader for institutional clients worldwide. He joined REFCO Securities, LLC in New York during the market crises as a Risk Arbitrage Trader, where his skills of recognizing temporary market inefficiencies helped create one of the most successful Equity/Equity derivatives desk's in the country. Eventually joining Tradition Asiel Securities, Inc. North America, he expanded the Equity/Equity Derivatives desk beyond traditional derivatives based products to alternative investments.
